Annual General Meeting 2010
The AGM of Snowdonia D.A. due to be
held at Brithdir Village Hall on Saturday 6th March 2010 could not be held
as there were insufficient voting members present to form a quorum under
Club rules. The members who did attend had all travelled considerable
distances to get to the Meeting and it was unfair to them and embarrassing
to the Committee to have to tell them that, as we were three members
short, they had had a wasted journey and afternoon.
A lot of work was done by the Committee after the Meeting was cancelled
to find a suitable date and venue to arrange another Meeting. This was not
easy as it had to be fitted in around the meets which have already been
booked and then a venue had to be found which was available for that date
and at a price the D.A. can afford. The postponed Meeting will now take
place on Saturday 15th May at 2:00 p.m. at Pendyffryn
Hall Caravan Park, Dwygyfylchi, Penmaenmawr LL34 6UF. This
is only a short distance from Junction 16a of the A55. There will be a
free buffet provided after the Meeting. Camping is available on site but
this must be booked directly with Pendyffryn Hall, not through Snowdonia

Membership cards must be shown to gain entry to the meeting. Will ALL Snowdonia DA Members please make an effort to attend.
The AGM is a legal requirement - if we are not able to hold one the D.A. cannot continue to exist and will be forced to close down.
